Brief History of the department
Borholla College was established in the year of 1990 and the Department of Political Science has been in existence since the very beginning of the college. The Department got permission from Dibrugarh University to start Major in Political Science in three year degree course in 1995. Mr. Biren Dutta was the founder faculty member of the department. At present, the department has three faculty members namely Mrs Pharida Begum, Mr. Marajul Hussain Bordoloi and Dr. Shivani Phukan. Over the years the Department has been successfully accomplishing its teaching leaning process.
