About the Department History
Borholla College is a premier educational institution for higher education in Titabor Sub – Division of Jorhat District. This is a rural based college havening eight departments. Out of these eight departments sociology is the one of the most popular department of the college. The sociology department was established in the month of July 1991 in the college. Since the establishment the department has been trying its level best to import quality education to the students of the area.
