1. Status of Department :-

Borholla college is the one and only higher educational institiution in the entire Borholla area. It is situated in the heart of Borholla 40 km. South of Jorhat District. The college was established in the year of 1990 at the auspicious and graceful initiative of morst of the public and academicians of greater Borholla area.

1990: Borholla College established in the year, MIL (Assamese) and Elective Assamese subject as included from the beginning with Degree Course.

1996:  Introduction Assamese as a Major Subject.
